Kalpavriksham Trust, in collaboration with Privaram Cancer Hospital, organized a Cancer Awareness Talk at Vel Tech School of Media Technology & Communication, New Vellanur, Avadi, with the participation of 57 members, including 55 students and 2 staff members.The session focused on the prevention and early detection of cervical and breast cancers, highlighting the importance of mammograms, Pap smear tests, and the HPV vaccine. The speaker also discussed cancer risk factors, screening procedures, and the benefits of early diagnosis.Participants were encouraged to adopt preventive health practices and spread awareness among their peers and communities, promoting informed health decisions and a culture of early cancer detection.
