Privaram Cancer Hospital, in collaboration with Kalpavriksham Trust, successfully conducted a Cancer Awareness Program at Government Model Higher Secondary School, New Alamathi, Chennai.
The session focused on creating awareness among students about:
- Early signs and symptoms of cancer
- Importance of early detection
- Cancer prevention through healthy lifestyle habits
- Awareness on breast and cervical cancer
- The role of screening and timely medical consultation
The program was well received by the school management, teachers, and students. A total of 149 students actively participated in the awareness session, and 5 teachers supported and coordinated the initiative.
The Headmaster of the school officially appreciated the effort, highlighting the importance of such awareness programs in educating young minds and promoting preventive healthcare from an early age.
