A cancer awareness program conducted by Jothi Madhar Sangam, in association with the Women’s Indian Association (WIA), was featured in Mambalam Times, highlighting impactful community outreach for women’s health.
We are proud that Mrs. C. Shanthi, representing Kalpavriksham Trust & Privaram Cancer Hospital, delivered an informative session on breast and cervical cancer awareness, stressing the importance of vaccination to prevent cervical cancer.
Using a demonstrative model, she helped participants clearly understand the progression of cancer, making complex information simple and relatable.
65 women participated, gaining accurate knowledge that helped dispel myths, misconceptions, and fear surrounding cancer—empowering them to take proactive health decisions.
