Kalpavriksham Trust, in collaboration with Privaram Cancer Hospital, continues its mission of creating healthier and informed communities. As part of this initiative, a comprehensive Cancer Awareness Session was conducted at MEASI Matriculation Higher Secondary School, George Town, Chennai, benefiting 173 students and staff members.
During the session, Mrs. Shanthi, Social Worker from Kalpavriksham Trust, delivered an engaging and informative talk on the importance of cancer awareness, early detection, and preventive care. The session focused on empowering young minds with essential knowledge about recognising early symptoms, adopting healthy lifestyle practices, and supporting individuals battling cancer.
The school appreciated the Trust’s efforts with a heartfelt written note, acknowledging the value of such awareness programs. They highlighted how awareness, knowledge sharing, and volunteering play a crucial role in building a community that is prepared and informed about cancer prevention.
