In a powerful display of unity and compassion, the Indian Navy Family Women came together to form a human chain and a symbolic cancer ribbon, standing shoulder to shoulder in the fight against cancer. The event, filled with emotion and purpose, reflected the collective commitment to raising awareness and encouraging early detection.
The Cancer Screening & Awareness Event was held at INS Pallava, Kalpakkam, on 17th October 2025, organized by Kalpavriksham Trust in collaboration with Privaram Cancer Hospital.
The program began with an enlightening Cancer Awareness Talk by
Dr. M. Banu Priya (Founder, Privaram Cancer Hospital & Kalpavriksham) and
Dr. L. Manikandan (Managing Director, Privaram Cancer Hospital & CEO, Kalpavriksham).
Their sessions highlighted the importance of early screening, preventive healthcare, and healthy lifestyle practices to reduce cancer risk.
